SCENE 1: THE TAKEOVER
INT. VANCE ENTERPRISES - BOARDROOM - DAY

A luxurious corporate boardroom overlooks the city skyline through floor-to-ceiling glass windows.

RICHARD VANCE stands at the head of a long glass table, surrounded by twelve anxious BOARD MEMBERS. He wears a tailored suit and gestures arrogantly.

RICHARD

(Smugly)

Gentlemen, Vance Enterprises is having its most profitable quarter yet. No one can stop us.

Suddenly, the heavy double doors at the end of the room SWING OPEN.

MAYA walks in with absolute grace and authority. She wears a sharp, high-end power suit and high heels. She holds four-year-old LILY by the hand. Around Maya's neck, the SILVER ORCHID PENDANT gleams against her chest.

JULIAN STERLING enters right behind her, wearing a dark bespoke suit and holding a thick leather briefcase.

The board members whisper in shock. Richard’s triumphant smile instantly vanishes.

RICHARD

(Shocked and angry)

Maya?! What the hell are you doing here? Security! Get this waitress out of my—

JULIAN

(Interrupting, calm and commanding)

I’d hold that thought, Mr. Vance. You are speaking to the majority shareholder of this company.

SCENE 2: THE REVELATION
INT. VANCE ENTERPRISES - BOARDROOM - CONTINUOUS

Maya walks straight to the head of the table. She doesn't flinch as Richard glares at her.

Julian opens his briefcase, hands Maya a stack of legal documents, and she SLAMS them down onto the glass table directly in front of Richard.

MAYA

(Cold, steady voice)

As of 8:00 AM today, Sterling Private Equity has acquired fifty-one percent of Vance Enterprises.

Richard’s face turns bright red. He slams both fists onto the table, shaking the glass.

RICHARD

(Yelling)

This is ridiculous! You're a penniless nobody! You have nothing! Where did you get this kind of backing?!

Maya slowly reaches to her neck, unclasps the heavy silver orchid ring from her chain, and slides it across the polished glass table. It stops right in front of Richard’s hands.

Richard stares at the engraved orchid crest. His eyes widen in total horror as he realizes the truth.

RICHARD

(Stammering, pale)

The Sterling family crest... You're... you're the missing heiress?

MAYA

(Leaning in, whispering cold truth)

You didn't just embarrass a waitress, Richard. You ruined your own empire. Now... get out of my chair.

SCENE 3: THE FALL OF THE VANCES
EXT. VANCE MANOR - DAY

Federal agents and police cruisers with flashing red-and-blue lights line the long driveway of the Vance estate.

TWO FEDERAL AGENTS lead RICHARD out of the mansion in handcuffs. His suit is disheveled, and his expression is filled with sheer humiliation.

On the front porch, OLIVIA VANCE clutches her chest, sobbing in complete despair as news reporters record the scene.

OLIVIA

(Crying out)

Richard! Tell them it's a mistake!

Nearby, VANESSA frantically tries to cover her face with her handbag as an OFFICER confiscates her smartphone.

POLICE OFFICER

(To Vanessa)

Ma'am, this device is evidence in an ongoing harassment and extortion investigation. Step aside.

Richard is pushed into the back of a police car. As the door slams shut, he looks through the window, completely ruined.

SCENE 4: RECLAIMING THE THRONE
EXT. STERLING TOWER - BALCONY - SUNSET

Golden hour light bathes a grand penthouse balcony overlooking the entire city skyline.

Maya stands at the edge, holding little Lily in her arms. Lily wears a tiny toy crown and giggles as she touches her mother's face.

Julian walks up beside them, handing Maya a glass of champagne.

JULIAN

The Vance assets have been frozen. The board has officially named you Chairwoman. Your mother would be proud, Maya.

Maya takes a breath, looking out over the city she now controls. She kisses Lily on the forehead and smiles with unstoppable confidence.

MAYA

(Quietly)

It was never about the money, Julian. It was about showing my daughter that nobody breaks us.

They look out toward the sunset as the city lights begin to shine below.
