They messed with the wrong person. Wait for his reaction when he finds out who she really is! 😱🔥 Part 2 is out now!

The Unseen Chair

The sleek, marble floor of the Vance Tower lobby glistened under the bright crystal chandeliers, but the atmosphere near the VIP elevators was anything but warm.

Clara Vance sat in her wheelchair, dressed in an immaculate ivory pantsuit. Her legs had been paralyzed in a car accident three years prior, but her mind was sharper than ever. Today was her first official day stepping into the shoes of her late father as the newly appointed CEO of Vance Global Enterprises. Wanting to observe the company's real culture without corporate fanfare or red-carpet treatment, she had arrived unannounced and unescorted.

That was when Mark, a veteran security guard known for abusing his slight power, approached her. Seeing a young woman in a wheelchair waiting near the executive elevators, he assumed she was an intruder or a beggar trying to manipulate visitors.

"You don't belong here, lady," Mark sneered, holding a bowl of spicy greasy takeout food he had just bought.

"I'm here for a meeting on the top floor," Clara replied softly, keeping her voice calm and polite.

Mark chuckled maliciously. "A meeting? In a wheelchair? Look at you. You’re useless!"

Before Clara could respond, Mark deliberately tilted his bowl and dumped the hot, oily sauce directly into her lap. The dark stain spread rapidly across her pristine white suit, spilling onto the marble floor.

Mark burst into loud, cruel laughter. "Hope you like it, you useless cripple! Now turn around and roll yourself out before I call the real police."

Clara lowered her head. A tear threatened to drop, but she took a slow, deep breath and wiped her stained cheek with the back of her hand. She did not scream, fight, or plead. She simply held her head high and waited.

Footsteps echoed frantically down the corridor.

David, the Director of Global Security, came running around the corner, drenched in sweat and holding a tablet. He had been desperately searching for the new CEO after receiving a notification that her car had entered the basement parking.

When David caught sight of Clara sitting in a puddle of sauce, surrounded by food debris, his eyes widened in absolute horror. He sprinted over, pushing Mark aside, and bowed deeply.

"Boss! Your office is ready..." David stammered, his voice trembling violently. "I... I am so sorry, Miss Vance! We didn't realize you had already come up!"

Mark’s triumphant grin instantly vanished. The color drained from his face until he was as pale as a sheet. "B-Boss? Director David, what are you talking about? She's just a disabled girl!"

"Shut up, you idiot!" David yelled, turning on Mark with pure rage. "This is Miss Clara Vance! The owner of this company and your highest employer!"

The lobby fell into a suffocating silence. The surrounding staff and guards gasped in shock.

Clara slowly turned the wheels of her chair, bringing herself face-to-face with Mark, who was now shaking so badly he could barely stand. She looked at the stain on her suit, then looked straight into his eyes. Her expression was no longer vulnerable; it was cold, powerful, and unwavering.

"You judged my worth by my ability to stand," Clara said, her voice clear and commanding through the vast lobby. "You thought because I am in a wheelchair, I am weak, powerless, and deserving of your cruelty. But physical strength does not make a leader, nor does it define a human being's dignity."

Mark dropped to his knees, stuttering apologies. "Miss Vance... please! I didn't know! I was just joking, I swear—"

"A person's true character is revealed by how they treat those they think cannot fight back," Clara interrupted cleanly.

She turned to David. "Strip him of his badge, terminate his contract immediately, and ensure he is blacklisted from every security firm affiliated with our partners. I will not have bullies guarding my doors."

"Right away, Miss Vance," David answered without hesitation.

As Mark was dragged away in disgrace, Clara adjusted her posture, ignoring the ruined suit. She looked around at the remaining staff, who stood in silent awe and respect.

With a slight nod, she said, "Now, take me to the boardroom. We have work to do."
